Dr. Brandon Koupal joined Lakeville Family Eye Care in July 2023, offering expertise in primary eye care, ocular disease, pediatric eye care, contact lens fittings, refractive and cataract surgery co-management, and emergency eye care.
After graduating from Elk Point-Jefferson High School in South Dakota, Dr. Koupal pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology. He then attended graduate school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, achieving his doctorate in the spring of 2023. During his final year of studies, he completed specialized rotations in ocular disease, ophthalmology, and primary care.
Dr. Koupal's professional passion lies in optometry, particularly in primary care and disease management. He is enthusiastic about delivering top-tier patient care early in his career and cherishes the opportunity to reside in the Midwest once again. Outside of work, Dr. Koupal and his wife, Jessica, maintain an active lifestyle, engaging in activities such as golfing, hiking trails with their dog, and exploring new experiences within the local community.
