Dr. Jonah Resnick began at Burnsville Family Eye Care in May of 2022. He provides services for primary eye care, contact lenses, ocular disease, refractive and cataract co-management, and emergency eye care.
After graduating from St. Louis Park High School, he attended the University of Minnesota where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a minor in music. He then attended the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California where he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry.
While in optometry school he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honors Society, served as president of the Omega Delta Professional Optometric Fraternity, and served as the Vice President of the Private Practice Club.
During his fourth year of optometry school he completed clinical rotations at the San Diego Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California, Ketchum Health Eye Clinic in Anaheim, California, The Southeast Tucson VA in Tucson, Arizona, and New Eyes Ophthalmology in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Resnick looks forward to attending continuing education courses and staying ahead of the curve with the newest technology in managing ocular disease and fitting contact lenses.
